Soman – German electronic project Kolja Trelle from Dresden, calling his music „industrial for clubs” and securing the title of one of the best in the Techno Body Music (TBM) formation.
Group history
Soman’s debut album Sound Pressure was released in 2003 by the German independent label Out Of Line. The success of the debut album, as well as numerous and very successful remixes for bands such as Combichrist, Hocico, Icon Of Coil brought Soman fame throughout Europe and beyond. In 2004, a limited edition EP was released on Out Of Line Revenge, after the publication of which Soman ceased cooperation with this company.
In 2005 Soman released the single „Unleash” on another up-and-coming German label, Infacted Recordings. The single was popular, and the group became a welcome guest at the loudest electro-festivals in Europe. Second Mask was released only in 2007, its release was preceded by a lengthy tour (including with and Lahannya). Mask almost devoid of vocal parts, but replete with samples from action and horror films. In 2008 Soman released the following disc Re: Up, which featured three new tracks along with remixes of hits and previously unreleased compositions. In the German alternative charts Re: Up reached the second position.
